Pimalai Resort Koh Lanta is spectacularly located, deeply nestled in the lush Ba Kan Tiang Bay. Just 70 kms south of Krabi Airport, the hotelis set in 100 acres of natural tropical surroundings with direct access to 900 meters of unspoiled pristine sandy beach.

Transportation:

This transportation can be arranged by the hotel; it consists of a 50 minutes drive from Krabi Airport followed by a 35 minutes scenic ride along the east coast of the Island on the resort's private air conditioned boat.

Note; if there are adverse weather conditions, the transfer may take up to 25 minutes longer.

Hillside Superior Room (64 units):

Sixteen clusters of two-storey buildings of southern Thai style architecture, containing four rooms. Each air-conditioned room has 48 square meters of living space with polished teak wood floor, rich Thai cotton upholstery, Bamboo curtains, and beautiful Siamese artifacts. The bedroom equipped with king size or twin beds open onto a large balcony equipped with wooden furniture and a cooling overhead fan. The adjacent large bathroom includes bathtub, separate walk-in shower and toilets.

Bay Front Deluxe Room (4 units):
With stunning views on the Ba Kan Tiang Bay & Beach, each air conditioned deluxe room, equipped with king size bed has more than 70 square meters of living space and offers refined Thai style interior design. The large bathroom features a bathtub overlooking the bay, separate walk-in shower and toilets.

Pavilion Suite (7 units):
With superb views on the Ba Kan Tiang Bay & Beach, Pavilion Suites are available in combinations of one (2 units) and two bedrooms (5 units), offering a living space from 110 square meters up to 170 square meters. A separate lounge with outside wooden sun deck open onto the bay as well as onto a private miniature garden planted with ferns and tropical plants.

A corridor leads into the bedroom and the bathroom. Featured in the oversized bathroom is a bathtub overlooking another secluded manicured garden which is also equipped with an open air shower. All suite master bedrooms are equipped with a king size bed; in the Pavilion Suites 2 Bedrooms, the second bedroom is equipped with twin beds and also features a second oversized bathroom of the same design. The second bedroom is well detached from the main building and therefore offers comlete privacy to its occupants.

Other features include personal safe, tea& coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone, piped in music, remote control satellite T.V., hair dryer, clothes line, refrigerator, minibar, cotton bathrobe, slippers.
The living room is also equipped with satellite T.V. as well as CD/DVD equipment for private use.

Baan:
The main restaurant offers air-conditioned and outdoor dining areas with sweeping view of the resort's infinity-edge swimming pool, the landscaped gardens and the bay. Breakfast, lunch and dinner menus offer both Thai and Western dining choices. There are seats 40 inside 40 outside

Rak Talay:
This beach bar & restaurant, is located right on the beach, nestled beneath towering tree from where guest can take in the sweeping views of the Andaman Sea and gentle southern breezes. The menu features casual light snacks, including salads, pasta, pizzas and great sandwiches. Freshly caught grilled seafood and a variety of light stir fried Thai style dishes are also available at dinner time.

A casual elegant open pavilion style lounge, set up 45 meters above sea level serving cocktails, pre and after dinner drinks. The Lobby Bar offers unrivaled views across the Ba Kan Tiang Bay toward a brilliant Thai sunset. The Lobby Bar seats 20.

An informal spot for refreshing drinks and light snacks whilst sunbathing around our stunning infinity-edge swimming pool.

Sea canoeing is also possible on nearby rivers. At last, Scuba Diving sites are exceptional in this part of Thailand because the surrounding coral reefs remain untouched and unpoilt.

Airport:
Flight connections to Krabi are made easily through Bangkok's Don Muang International Airport. Thai Airways operates a daily flight (1hr. 10 min). P.B Air (based in Bangkok) operates 3 flights per week. Bangkok Airways flies daily from Trang (30 minutes) whilst Air Andaman provides daily Phuket-Krabi flights (30 minutes).
